About Us
The Society for Information Management Las Vegas Aspiring Leaders Group (SIM LV ALG) is a group committed to connecting students and recent graduates in the IT field with industry professionals.
Our mission is to foster growth and development through initiatives such as mentoring programs, providing members with valuable networking opportunities and access to experienced professionals in the IT sector.
Interested in joining?
Open to individuals enrolled in a higher education program or a specialized training course focused on information technology, information technology management, cybersecurity, or related fields.
Eligibility
Applicants must be currently enrolled in or have completed a program in one of the following fields or a related discipline. Graduates must have completed their program within the past five years.

How do I become a member of SIM Las Vegas Aspiring Leaders Group?
We are so excited to have you join us! To become a member, we ask that you fill in our Interest Form. Please allow us some time to get back to you with more information and details in a follow-up email. After receiving our email and after attending a meeting, you are a member.
How much does it cost to join?
There is no cost to join SIM Las Vegas Aspiring Leaders Group. We welcome everyone who meets eligibility.
What is the difference between SIM Las Vegas Aspiring Leaders Group and the SIM Las Vegas Chapter?
SIM Las Vegas Aspiring Leaders Group is dedicated to helping students, graduates and early career professionals in information technology, information management and related fields. This group was established by fellow students and early professionals to help others navigate the beginning of a career in IT.
SIM Las Vegas Chapter is a chapter of the Society for Information Management. This chapter consists of senior technology executives, distinguished academicians, and leaders in information management here in Las Vegas, Nevada. The SIM Las Vegas Chapter serves as a community where members can share their knowledge within a vibrant community. To learn more, go here.
